Playing Along

Jenny of Jenzai Studio and my real life bff tagged me with the six word memoir meme. Thus –

Here are the rules:

1. Write the title to your own memoir using 6 words.
2. Post it on your blog.
3. Link to the person who tagged you.
4. Tag 5 more blogs.

I won’t cheat and use the one I came up with in February. Instead, going off one of my favorite comments recently, here are my six words:
Striving for Strenuous and Muscular Kindness

And now I tag:

1) Raven
2) The Unreliable Narrator
3) The Almost Right Word
4) Nolan
5) Katie

Even with just six words, you are able to write in such a strong and commanding way. Again, thank you for sharing yourself with us.

  2. the almost right word Says:

uh oh. this will need some serious thinking!

  3. Elizabeth Says:

I work for SMITH, where the six-word challenge originated, and I’ve been keeping an eye on this meme for the past few months. I just wanted to let you know how much I like your memoir (and the one you wrote back in February, too). It’s only six words, but I found myself reading the first five and expecting something else entirely when I came to kindness - and the whole memoir is such a beautiful, bold statement. Fantastic! If you’re interested, consider submitting either of them to SMITH, and we’ll consider them for the next book!

  4. the unreliable narrator Says:

Carsick and woozy, yet already wondering why I can’t adapt my potted epitaph: [Here Lies One] Whose Name Was Writ in Margarine–? Or, She Darkened Every Oval Completely? (only five words)….okay BED and shower and more mañana, my most muscularly and strenuously kind e-BFF. xoxo the Un (who also likes your February one)
